Neuropathologists — Physicians specialized in the diseases affecting the nervous system. Neuropathologists work closely with neurosurgeons in interpreting operative specimens and establishing a diagnosis.
Neuro-oncologists — Physicians who are cancer specialists and treat tumors of the nervous system.
Neuro radiation oncologists — Physicians specialized in using radiation therapy to treat cancers of the nervous system.
