Print the Concussion Reference Card
Dr. Karahalios was part of the CINN team that developed, in conjunction with the Illinois Athletic Trainers Association, a concussion reference card for parents, coaches and other athletic supporters. Dr. Karahalios encourages you to print this card and store a copy in your car, your wallet or other easy place to reference. Print as many as you’d like. Tell your friends, coaches, team mates and family members involved with youth sports.
Based upon experience, concussion experts like Dr. Karahalios, understand the concussions may happen on the field, on the playground or in the front yard. Concussions may impact athletes of all ages. Knowing the signs and symptoms of concussion is critical to identifying and treating the condition effectively.
